The board exist of 5 members and 1 adviser. The family foundation has slowly grown and become more and more professional, but still under the dedicated management of the family.
The board is meeting 3 times per year, to be able to discuss running businesses, like follow up about the different projects, any problems, (extra) funding requests and once a year in November/December the budget requests.
Members of the board and the adviser are visiting, if they have the possibility, some projects each year. To get feeling and get committed with the projects, to get to known the staff and management, to be able to understand the structure, way of working and to be able to understand reports, problems and requests to take the right decision. Next to this, projects are also visited for controlling and monitoring and evaluation.
